Sebasco Harbor Resort Wedding | Maine Photographers
Abby and Saben are very clearly in love; easily visible in the way that they look and treat each other. These two had a romantic Sebasco Harbor Resort wedding, Saturday, August 22, 2015. We were so excited to be a part of this special couple’s day with their closest family and friends. Congratulations to the lovely couple!! We hope you enjoy some of our favorite photos of the day, starting with this one we did just after their first look:
And, now, back to the beginning of the day, starting in the bridal prep suite:
We love bride getting-ready photos. It tells such a special story of the day. There are so many emotions and beautiful details to capture, including the rings on the pretty pastel invitation from Zula Bell, below right.
The tears flowed with the father of the bride, seeing his daughter dressed for her wedding for the first time, below. We love the show of emotion!
Abby’s cathedral veil is put in place, below.
Beautiful bridal portraits of a beautiful bride, above. Below, Abby and Saben decided to see each other, a wedding day first look, before the wedding ceremony. Many couples find that incorporating a first look not only helps keep their anxiety levels in check but also allows for a less-stressful schedule for the rest of the day.
We were lucky to have Abby and Saben to ourselves for a few moments.
The clouds were ever-present, but rather than spoiling the day, made for some intriguing light and drama.
The men and the women of the bridal party.
Bridal party at “The Rock” an iconic Sebasco Resort location for wedding photos, below.
It’s alway cute when there are flower girls and ring bearers, you’re never sure exactly what will happen! Here, the sweet flower girl promptly empties her basket, then checks to make sure the petals are gone.
Below, the ring bearer is taking his role very seriously.
And, now it’s Abby’s turn, awaiting the walk down the ‘aside’ with her proud dad.
Here comes the bride! Above and below. For this Sebasco Harbor Resort wedding, the rain held off, even as it threatened in the distance. Below, Saben watches his bride approach. Abby is wearing a gorgeous Maggie Sottero design from Andrea’s Bridal.
The weather could not have been nicer, a light veil of clouds filtering the heat and the light a bit, and comfortable temperatures.
Above, a beautiful Sebasco Harbor Resort wedding!
The bridal party, complete with bride and groom, on the deck at the dock at Sebasco.
There’s beauty in the bride and groom, and beauty in the surroundings at Sebasco.
Below, beautiful pastel pink and white details. The stunning flowers were done by Emily Carter Floral Designs. So pretty!!
Four beautiful wedding cakes by Let Them Eat Cake, (above right). Below, first dance.
And, father-daughter dance:
Let the party begin!!
Ben Kilcollins, below left, and the Kilcollins Band provided provided awesome music and excellent vocals as they performed some really fantastic covers of many great popular songs along with their original playlist.
When the sun sets at Sebasco, it is time to head outside to take it all in! Being an easterly-facing state, relatively few coastal resorts in Maine –essentially only those on peninsulas– have ocean-facing sunset views.
Below, bridal bouquet toss. The expressions and action are hard to beat! Nothing other than the bouquet suffered any injury, despite the ambition and effort put forth to capture the prize!
And one more peek back at sunset as the couple walked back up the ramp to awaiting cart waiting to whisk them back to their party!
We love comments!! Please leave a comment to let us know if you enjoyed Abby and Saben’s Sebasco Harbor Resort wedding. Thank you!
