Nonantum Wedding | Kennebunkport Maine

Suzi and Tyler had a most beautiful Nonantum wedding, on a warm and sunny fall day!! Their ceremony was at the South Congregational Church in Kennebunkport, Maine, Saturday, October 10, 2015. They then went on to have a fabulous reception at one of our Kennebunkport, Maine, faves, the Nonantum Resort! Suzi and Tyler could not have been nicer or easier to get along with. Quick to smile and laugh, they are a joy to be around. They, and their families, were so much fun!! And can we just say that when it came time for dancing, we’ve never seen the dance floor at the Nonantum filled to such capacity!! Thanks to the talents of the Jim Ciampi Band, who sounded fantastic!

The couple decided to do a wedding day first look. What’s a wedding day first look? It’s a carefully arranged meeting of the bride and groom prior to the ceremony. Suzi and Tyler wanted to be able to attend their cocktail hour and relax with family and friends. We were able to take them in and around Kennebunkport for a series of artistic and creative photos. Couples love this special time before the ceremony. It’s often the only time they are alone together (with us chaperones) for the entire day! Suzi and Tyler chose an unplugged wedding, where their guests are asked to keep all electronic devices stowed away during the ceremony. Guests often report that they feel more present and have a better time with unplugged ceremonies. Win win!
