Michaela & Joe, August 10, 2024
Wedding day plans for Michaela and Joe began well over a year ago, and everything materialized, best we can say, exactly and perfectly as they had envisioned. Now, leading up to the wedding, until literally hours before, the weather forecast included tropical downpours for the day. Knowing how important each of the pieces were to the couple, we the photographers suggested moving the first-look up to Thursday, for which the forecast was good, at least for photo purposes. And that is what we did. Turns out Saturday’s weather was totally rain-free starting early, so having done an initial first-look simply meant we got to do another on wedding day. With a totally different hair and makeup set, Michaela looked beyond stunning for the entire day. The good weather also meant the sailboat arrival for Joe and crew, an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. The Jim Ciampi Band rocked the night away. I am not sure how Michaela ever recovered from the hours and hours of that mile-wide smile. Which says it all. What a sweet day, what a sweet couple! And, OMG, their ‘ring bearer’ Caddie, one of the sweetest Goldens I have ever met. See what we mean in the favorites photo set that follows.
