Newagen Seaside Inn Wedding | Southport Maine Wedding Photographers

Danielle and Rob’s Newagen Seaside Inn wedding weekend was an absolute dream! For all (including us) who had the pleasure of being in attendance over the weekend from the Friday rehearsal dinner (wow!) to the wedding and on to the ending brunch on Sunday.

Danielle and Rob met us at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, in Boothbay Harbor, for their rehearsal. Rob and Danielle are both very compassionate and caring, which is what we first noticed about them. This sentiment was affirmed during rehearsal dinner speeches from their closest friends. They’re also very calm and relaxed, which made the whole weekend a pleasure.

The rehearsal dinner was a fabulous lobster bake and BBQ, under a tent beside the ocean at the Newagen. What we love about being on hand for rehearsal dinners is that we not only get to hear the toasts and speeches by family and friends, we also get to see the couple together. If we haven’t been able to photograph the couple during an engagement session, it gives us a better sense of who the bride and groom are as individuals and as a team, and we can then gear our artistic photo set specifically for them. We think this was very effective as you’ll see from the photos below (the rehearsal dinner photos follow at the end of this post).

Newagen Seaside Inn Wedding ~

Saturday, June 3, 2017 was wedding day! A lovely boat ride to and from the ceremony was a treat for wedding guests. It doesn’t get more Maine than that! The ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt. And the first dance, just wow!! You’ll be able to get the feel from the photos that follow. This first photo is a favorite of the day, and was taken during the artistic we did with Danielle and Rob, after the boat ride back to the Newagen and before cocktail hour. We hope you enjoy your look at their day through our eyes and lenses.
