Kennebunkport Wedding At The Colony Hotel | Kennebunkport Wedding
This early August Kennebunkport wedding at The Colony Hotel was one to remember! Andrew and Sarah originally planned for all-outdoor wedding reception, but were able to revise the plan as the day drew near. Thus their original dream of a ballroom reception came true. Their somewhat uncustomary but nevertheless awesome wedding ceremony time of noon on a Sunday worked out so, so well. Their local parish priest, Fr. Colin, came to Maine to officiate, after some preliminary steps were taken earlier in the week back at home in New Jersey to allow it all to fall into place.
The early in the day wedding time allowed for photos with them at the always-awesome Colony Beach across the street, samples of which are below. But, moreover, it also allowed for an early afternoon change of clothing! Why would anyone change out of their beautiful (and it was beautiful!) wedding attire for something else? How about to go into the water?
And, in the water it was! No need to try to explain, just check out these, some of our favorite photos of the day, below. Sarah and Andrew, sincere thanks for months ago working with us to build a plan we to do this. Oh, and yes, they changed back out of wet clothes into their original attire for the cocktail party, dinner, and oh-so-fun dancing. Enjoy this look at their day as we saw it and lived it!
