There are so many feelings and emotions on wedding day, for everyone involved. We can’t help but love Amanda and Ryan’s recessional in one of the most joyous wedding images of 2016! It’s, in fact, our #6 image of the year! Read more below:
#6 of 2016 | Joyous Wedding Images
There’s little to compare to the joyous recessional at most weddings. Amanda and Ryan’s very joyous wedding day in early October at the Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport was no exception. There are many factors that led us to selecting this as our #7 wedding image of 2016, some tangible and some less so. Therefore, we do know among the many things we love about this photograph includes the genuine emotion of Amanda and Ryan, their gestures, and those bubbles. Further, guests didn’t need any coaching and nearly everyone took part in ensuring that the bubbles were there in good order at the right moment.
Photographic notes: taken, as we always do, at recessional time by walking backwards, with an occasional glance to ensure that no wayward guests, children or whomever have wandered into our path! 🙂 We use our cameras on the highest frame-per-second mode available and often with a wide to very-wide lens. Accordingly, this one was with our 16-35mm f/2.8 lens. All our cameras are full-frame 35mm equivalent. In summary, did we mention that this is one of our favorite moments at weddings?
