Julie and Jordan’s group wedding photo is a “feel the love” shot if there ever was one. It may set some sort of record for having the highest number of people visible in one wedding shot, anyhow!
There’s just “something” about this photo and the way it all fell together that I really love, and thus chose it for my #16 top favorite wedding image of the year.
Julie and Jordan are such a sweet couple, with equally sweet parents on both sides. It was the idea of Jordan’s mom to pull off this shot, and even though there were about 200 people to line up, it all worked. People were already on the awesome deck at the equally awesome Colony Hotel, which helped, but I still continue to be impressed that we got the wave and cheer off in unison.
Shots like this, their memories, and the fun it took to pull it off are among the countless reasons we love photographing weddings!
