Emily and Todd had a really fun engagement session with us on a dry but breezy and gray day in April in Ipswich, MA, an area with close personal ties as that is where Emily’s parents were married about 30 years earlier. We love gray days when the gray is accompanied by drama in the skies with great cloud textures. With a dreamy walk-out-of-the-photo look and a contrasty black and white conversion we had the ingredients for a shot that landed it as our #44 on our Photo of Year review for 2015. Carrie and Dan married on a picture-perfect day in August, 2015 at French’s Point in Stockton Springs, Maine. Their officiant was actually a member of Dan’s bridal party, and he rocked the day with wit, humor, reverence, and fun. Lots of fun, in fact. To wit: in this shot, our #43 of the year, he surprised Dan with a squirt of breath freshener spray just prior to the first kiss. While Dan didn’t know what to make of this moment, Carrie is certainly getting a kick out of it. We love moments like this. Short of the musicians, everyone, including the ring bearer, is enjoying the laugh. The French’s Point wedding of Carrie and Dan shares more moments!
