York Harbor Maine Wedding Photographer
It was supposed to rain. It had started on and off several times. Though of course there was a backup plan, this was (as evidenced by what you will see below), an outdoor event.Yet, as so many times in the past, I told myself: “don’t worry, it will all work out”. And it did. Ann, the bride, was upbeat the whole time, placing what turned out to be good stock in the weather forecast that said that there’d be no showers at 4PM in York Harbor, Maine, at Dockside Guest Quarters, the location of this very warm, loving family- and friend-filled wedding.
So after prepping at a wonderful seaside rental home literally 40′ from the granite cliffs of the Maine shore in York Beach, Maine, we heading to the venue and proceeded to have a just wonderful time photographing the wedding of Ann and Lucas. She photographed beautifully and of course we love the soft light from the sky on silver-gray days. Assisted by my second photographer Jill and my new life- and business-parter Liz, the three of us worked nicely as a team and just reveled in the beauty in the people and the locations they chose for this wonderful ceremony and lobster bake dinner. Congratulations Ann & Lucas!
Ann, Thank you for sharing your beautiful day with me through these wonderful photos. I can tell the day was full of love and happiness. I know Annie was there in spirit, smiling! Congratulations to you both, now and in the future! Sandy
