We just LOVE photographing proposals!
Taylor and Katie came from Boston to have lunch with a friend from oversees, so the story went. Katie was on board for it. On the way to lunch (there really wasn’t a friend from overseas to meet), Taylor stopped at the middle of the bridge that crosses from Kennebunk (Maine) to Kennebunkport, and he had a question for Katie. I mean, really. Where else does there just happen to be a huge heart on a quaint waterfront building or four-foot tall LOVE lettering? Look how cute this couple is and how well they photographed! We take a LOT of time, perhaps even more time in fact that the photo session itself, to plan out every detail, literally to the minute, ahead of time. Most of the time we’re in places where we can easily pose as amateur landscape or wildlife photographers. The other times we get crafty with our reason to be there with all the cameras.
Did we mention we LOVE doing these sessions?
Yup, we really do. Documenting the love journey right from the start is, we like to say, a great way to begin keeping forever memories. Followed by a more formal engagement session, the wedding, of course, and family photos annually down the road. All good stuff! Congratulations to Taylor and Katie for all that lies ahead for them!
