Kelly and Dana were such a wonderful couple and we had the best time getting to know them during their engagement session and wedding. So, when I saw this photo of our sweet bride getting ready, I knew I had to include it in my top 19 of 2019!
We had photographed Kelly and Dana at their engagement session in York, Maine, in September 2018. As always happens, we not only had a fun time taking photos and getting to know Kelly and Dana, we also formed a really great connection with them.
That connection goes a huge way in letting our brides and grooms relax and trust us on their wedding day. When you have the trust and connection with your wedding photographer, it shows in your photos. Your smile is more genuine, your shoulders are down and relaxed, and you interact with each other in a more authentic way.
Here’s Kelly, above, seeing herself as a bride for the first time, fluffing out her veil. Priceless.
