Port Clyde Engagement Session | Port Clyde Maine
We are so excited about Perri and Steve’s Port Clyde engagement session!! We loved meeting these two. Not only are they both beautiful, they’re also really nice, and super fun! You’ll see from the photos below.
Perri’s mom, Lorrie, has a long family history in the town of Port Clyde. For those of you who have never been to the St. George Peninsula in Maine, it is absolutely gorgeous! Long known for its granite quarries, ship building, and sardine canneries, Port Clyde is now popular as a wonderful fine arts community. Perri has been visiting Port Clyde all her life, so it made perfect sense to have a Port Clyde engagement session. Perri and Steve came up from Florida, where they live. It was a fairly chilly, windy day, but this didn’t stop us from having such a fun time capturing their engagement images. We timed things to coincide with sunset at the nearby dock that’s part of the area owned by Lorrie’s family.
We had the luxury of visiting several different locations during this Port Clyde engagement session, for a couple of reasons. First, Perri and Steve had an extended engagement session, which is really like a mini photo shoot. Secondly, everything is so close in this community, one pretty spot to the next was all in walking distance. When we arrived at the Port Clyde General Store, Liz spied a bicycle, so Steve ask the nice owner if we could use it for a few moments as a prop. She was more than willing, and we loved that segment of the session! Tell us what you think!
We are super excited to see Perri and Steve next July at their Samoset Resort wedding!!
The location matches the couple–stunning!! Photos for a lifetime.
