Phenomenal Wedding Photos
Drumroll please!! Here it is, after one full month of counting down, and we have reached our #1 choice in our year of phenomenal wedding photos!
There are so many reasons that we love this photo…the sky, the symmetry, the fall foliage, the quintessential New England clapboard church, and, the beautiful couple!! You can read more below.
It’s December 30, 2015 and it’s time for #1:

Mallory and Jared in Norway Maine.
We’ll start right off by making the important mention that this image was taken just about an hour before this wonderful couple’s wedding in Norway, Maine, but this amazingly iconic typical New England church was not the location at which they married. It was, however, on the road to Granite Ridge Estate and Barn, which was their wedding venue, as we were heading back from doing a first look in town in Norway. “Could we please stop here?”, we distinctly remember asking. We also distinctly remember an answer that was pretty much, “sure, whatever you want to do!”. And it isn’t lost on us that we so appreciate the chance to shoot a couple who is about to have a traditional Jewish wedding service stop at a Christian church for photos. It was so, so worth it, as we grabbed one of our widest lenses, places Mallory and Jared in front of each their own doorway, gave them the slightest bit of direction possible, and snapped away. The really cool thing about this scene is that the sky, the trees, the location, pretty much the whole thing looked just like it does here. In other words, while we polished up a few technical things here and there in our post-production of this image, it is by and large the way things were. Emphasized by our choice of lenses and the perspective corrections we achieve during the aforementioned post-production, but we love this all the more that it represents such
