The count rolls on each day, and it’s Wednesday December 23, 2015, time for our #8 in our fantastic wedding images countdown:

We form a beautiful connection with our couples after spending 8 to 10 hours with them on one of the biggest, most important days of their lives. We become especially connected with the couples who choose to do an engagement session. Tara and Steve were one of those couples that we hit it off with during their engagement session last May. By the time their wedding at the Nonantum Resort came around in October, we felt like great friends! Tara and Steve opted for a first look, which we just love. When couples have a first look, that is to see each other before their wedding ceremony, we get excited because of the wonderful photo ops a first look creates.
Take this image above for example. Liz captured Tara and Steve not long after their first look at Gooch’s Beach in Kennebunkport, Maine during their October wedding on a lovely and sunny but cool and breezy Saturday afternoon. We customarily grab some favorite shots when we ask our couples to walk hand-in-hand, after just seeing each other in their wedding day splendor for the first time. We just love their joy seen here, which was 100% real and not posed in any way. Coupled with the sparkly blue-green water and dramatic skies, this photo was a clear #8 in our fantastic wedding images countdown of 2015.
