Nonantum Resort Wedding | Kennebunkport Maine Wedding Photography

Ariel and Kevin had such a classically elegant Nonantum Resort wedding, on Sunday, September, 20, 2015. We were so honored and excited to be a part of this day! Their Kennebunkport Maine wedding was so special in every way.

We first met Ariel in 2013, when she and Liz attended a Dale Carnegie Course. During a break on the first day they discovered that they each worked in the wedding industry. On a subsequent class Ariel told Liz “Some day when I get married, I want Russell Caron Wedding Photography to photograph my wedding!” At that point, Ariel and Kevin had been dating, but were not yet engaged. Fast forward to July 2014, the day after Kevin proposed, and we had an email from Ariel asking if we had her date available! The rest, as they say, is history. Here’s the story of their beautiful day.

It’s no secret that we love wedding day first looks. The two panels below, illustrate why this is such a favorite with us. Just look at the pure joy and happiness, what a beautiful moment! To say that we got misty-eyed at this point is no exaggeration.

What a gorgeous location for a perfect Maine wedding! Ariel and Kevin chose to have an unplugged wedding, where guests are asked to keep all electronic devices stowed away during the ceremony. Most guests report that they not only feel more present and in the moment, but they also have a better time, win win!
