French’s Point Wedding | Maine Wedding Photographers
Carrie and Dan treated their families and guests to an amazing French’s Point wedding in Stockton Springs, Maine along Penobscot Bay at the gateway to the Mount Desert Island/Acadia National Park area. We loved this sweet, quiet couple from the minute we met them for their engagement session. Their quick smiles, and Carrie’s love of laughter made them so much fun to be around. Our favorites from their French’s Point wedding are below. We hope you love them as much as we do!
Above, a wide angle view of the ceremony site during the actual ceremony. The stunning site takes in a 270°+ view of Penobscot Bay. Below, near French’s Point at Sandy Beach.
Details start our chronological look at the day:

Above and below, Carrie and Dan during their first look. Choosing to see each other before the ceremony provides a great deal of comfort during an anxious-yet exciting-time.
Carrie and Dan were able to have a few quiet minutes alone before their ceremony, above and below.

The weather was absolutely perfect for this French’s Point wedding!! The bridesmaids above, and the guests, share one of many laughs during the heartfelt ceremony that managed its share of well-placed humor, too.
Above, without question, one of the funniest ceremonies we’ve ever experienced! Max, the officiant/groomsman, performed (his first wedding ceremony ever!) with grace and aplomb, and so much humor! Including mint spray for the groom before the first kiss, below. Just when we may think we’ve seen it all, well, we haven’t, yet! 🙂

Could the French’s Point grounds and location be any more stunning? Even in black and white!

A classic at French’s Point, below, the entire bridal assembly and guests gather for a photo, and we had them cheer for the bride and groom.
Good Will and Them Apples Band, below, put on one heck of a fantastic show! Excellent energy, great brass, and interaction with the party meant that everyone had an awesome time!
Above, hands-down just about the funniest Best Man’s speech we’ve ever heard. He kept the entire place in stitches, below.
Below left, Charlie the ring bearer begin followed by his dad. Below right, blue, white, and yellow florals from the very talented Flora Fauna!
Sunset adds a new look of light and beauty on the grounds at French’s Point:
Not to mention a fabulous moonrise!
Party fun lasted all night long!
Dusk leaves its blue light as the moon rises over the mansion.
Carrie and Dan had one great dance party with music from Them Apples Band, from Boston!!
