Portland Maine Winter Engagement
Angela and Tom wanted a Portland Maine winter engagement session, luckily for them, it snowed the day before! Just enough to make it look and feel like winter in Maine. It was a breezy and cool (OK, it wasn’t cool, it was COLD!) but the sun was strong, and we all did just fine.
Angela and Tom had their first date at the Portland Regency Hotel, and wanted to have some photos taken in the courtyard, below. We started our session in the neighborhood, enjoying the brick walls and sidewalks, above.
Since this was all about a Portland Maine winter engagement, we went to Deering Oaks Park with a fresh coat of snow. It was a winter wonderland! The shadows gave us some great lines to work with. Above and below.
Angela and Tom are getting married on August 29, 2015, with the ceremony taking place at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke, when it’s pretty certain the weather will be much warmer!
Our final stop was the Westin Portland Harborview, which is where Angela and Tom will have their reception. The Top of the East with its breathtaking scenery wasn’t yet open for the day, but the very accommodating staff helped us out, giving us access to the this, what we think is the best view from any building in Maine. And we’re happy they did, because we love these two photos, above and below.
